Amatsu is a gentle therapy, which is very effective throughout pregnancy. Speak to your practitioner to clarify at what stages it would be beneficial for you to visit. It can help with back pain, tension in the ligaments of the uterus, symphysis pubis and other conditions. It will also help to bring your pelvis back into balance. A pelvis that is in balance can move and turn to allow the baby to deliver as quickly and safely as possible. Amatsu treatments (balances) are gentle and non-invasive and are suitable for people of any age, from the very young to the very old and for those with limited mobility.
The techniques of Amatsu allow treatment right across the age range. It can treat newborn babies to the most senior of citizens. Please note that under 16s must be accompanied by an adult at all Amatsu sessions.
It is often useful to balance newborn babies that may be experiencing problems from birth. Signs to look for are: only turning their head to one side, constant crying or screaming, excessive colic, repeated ear, nose and throat problems. All of these symptoms may be helped by using cranial balancing techniques and therefore, we recommend that the Amatsu practitioner be qualified to Kenku level.

I have worked with hundreds of Mum in Per and Post pregnancy in Holistic Nurtue Blanchardtown which is a centre or Red Tent to support First, Second and third time Mum on their pregnancy journey and the first year of been a Mum.
All clients must be signed off by their doctor after pregnancy so I would want at least 6 weeks post pregnancy.
